Best friends since they could walk.
In love since they were fourteen.
Complete strangers since this morning.

He’ll do anything to remember. She’ll do anything to forget.

Crystal's Thoughts:
With an undertone of romance, Never Never is a full-embodied mystery and suspense novella that will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering along with the characters, just what in the heck is going on?!

Never Never is the first novella in the self-titled series centering around two seventeen-year-old's, Charlie and Silas, who wake up in their high school history class with no memory of who or where they are. Their whole life is a puzzle. They don't even remember each other but from those around them glean they are a couple. So they decide to team up to put the missing pieces together. Yet, nothing and no one is what they seem. Not even Charlie and Silas...

Never Never was my first encounter with author's Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher's writing, and I enjoyed it from start to finish. The story was well written and intriguing with alternating chapters between Charlie and Silas, as well as the authors themselves. I loved the chemistry between Silas and Charlie, even if their minds don't remember it, their bodies do. However, there was a notable lack of romance though you could feel it just under the surface waiting to emerge.

The only down side to Never Never was the high price for a book of such short length. And if I had known before hand that this was only a novella, and not even a complete story (part of a series), I probably wouldn't have purchased it right away. Just when you're getting into the story and catching on to the plot, and you think some answers will finally be revealed, it ends. *pouty face* I am highly anticipating the next book in the series, but the wait for it is disappointing. Never the less, I will most likely grab it as soon as it release. If you loved Lexi Ryan's Here and Now series, then you won't want to miss Never Never
