Reading Between the Wines Book Club

Highland Heart is a very short story about a young English woman with exceptional healing powers, traveling to the Highlands with her younger sister and ignoble father who are then captured by a warring clan. Riddled with action and passion, Highland Heart is a quick but fulfilling read. Being only about 50 pages or so, the romance was short and incomprehensive but still felt true.

I saw on other reviews that this is perhaps a prequel to the author's previous book, Captured Heart, and after looking it up realized that it is the story for some secondary characters from Highland Heart. I just purchase it and can't wait to get started on it now!

I would recommend Highland Heart to sweet romance readers looking for a quick lunchtime or in-between read!
