If Looks Could Chill
3.5 StarsA wonderful romantic suspense series but I didn't enjoy this second book as much as I did the first. My main issue with it was that the main couple's romance, Tara Reeves & Marc Lafayette, was overshadowed by a secondary couple. The first book, Shoot to Thrill, followed just the one couple - one plot, where as If Looks Could Chill seemed to cover a much broader scope. It felt like two books squeezed into one.
However, the characters still captivated, the suspense kept me on the edge of my seat and there was plenty of yummy tension and smexiness to go around. A good read all in all and I look forward to the next book, A Kiss to Kill.
