Sinners at the Altar

Sinners at the Altar - Olivia Cunning If you're a long-time Sinners fan like moi' then you know just how long we have been waiting for some of these stories! (Appetite for Seduction) The end of the series was bittersweet because these are characters that will stay in your heart forever. So, you will understand my excitement when Ms. Cunning was finally able to put this baby together and make fan-girl readers such as myself heart's explode with the joy of it all.

Sinners, if you've been living under a rock for the last four years, is the sexiest, hottest, baddest, most exciting group of rock stars that you will ever meet (in a book). And kinkiest, we can't forget that. And did I mention sexy? Oh boy! *fans self* Now a warning...if you haven't read this series then you most definitely will run into spoilers with this review as Sinners at the Alter is basically an epilogue of all five books in the series. You cannot be a lover of romance and not read the Olivia Cunning's Sinners on Tour series. So, stop reading this and go grab Backstage Pass right this minute. Straight up. You won't regret it and you'll re-read it more then a few times. Promise.

Now, getting to it. Brian "Master" Sinclair is the lead guitarist in the band Sinners. Rock star father, diva mother, sex-doctor wife and new daddy. His was the first of the Sinners' stories with Backstage Pass and I have to say, my favorite. Brian has the biggest heart and when it comes to his wife, Myrna, he is like a kid in a candy store. He wants to gorge himself on as much of her as he can and he can never get enough. In Appetite for Seduction we're treated to their wedding and what happens right afterwards, which basically fills in the gaps from the glimpses that were given in Backstage Pass and the continuing books. It is impossible to not fall even more in move with Brian and Myrna in this sweet and sexy little story. And when I say sexy, I mean hot, sweaty, wild-fantasies sex-ay. Gawd I have so much love for these two!

Wicked Beat is the fourth book in the series and features Eric Sticks, Sinners drummer, and Rebekah Blake, Sinners soundboard tech. The story was an emotional roller-coaster going from heart-breaking, to blowing your drink out your nose you're laughing so hard, to heart-pounding, and oh-so-sweet. In Sweet Love of Mine Eric puts together a surprise wedding for Rebekah that will have you sighing with a big goofy smile on your face. From Eric's upbringing, he never expected to have a family of his own but when he see's what his friends go through to help him put together Rebekah's dream wedding for them and all that Rebekah is willing to give him, he realizes that he's always had a family. They may not be blood, but they're family none the less. Sweet, cute, and you can't spell Sinners without Sexy. No, you can't. ;-P

Rock Hard features lead singer Sed Lionheart and past sweetheart who broke his heart to bits and turned him into a dickish manwhore, Jessica Chase. They obviously worked out their differences in that story but let me tell you, it was a long, hard road to happily-ever-after for those two. In Patience Sed and Jess finally tie the knot...and did I mention that they have a penchant for public sex? No? Well, they do. And when these two get in the mood, there is nothing that is going to stop them from getting it on! Not a wedding, not rain, not even a public beach. Hehe. These two are smoking hot and despite a certain mother-in-laws bullying, they get their perfect wedding even if it didn't quite go as planned.

November Rain is the epilogue to Jace and Aggie's story in Hot Ticket. Jace is the bassist and the quiet one of the band, and you know what they say about the quiet ones don't you? It is all true when it comes to Jace! Him and Aggie balance each other out so well and Jace just has a way of pulling on your heart strings without any effort. This story had to be the most heart-touching of the group and had my eyes watering during. But if you know Jace and Aggie, then you also know that there was some down and dirty kink action going on as well!

Now...the only thing that was missing in Sinners at the Alter was the sexy, promiscuous, rhythm guitarist Trey's (Double Time) own little story and this was explained beforehand in an author's note. So I am anxiously looking forward to more from him in the future and the release of Insider, the first book in the Exodus End (Trey's brother's band) series! And did I mention how much I LOVE these story titles in Sinners at the Alter?! Seriously. The best titles ev-ver! Bottom-line; Sinners at the Alter is a must-read for any Sinners fan and if you aren't a Sinners fan already, pick up Backstage Pass and it won't take you long to hop on the groupie train! Guaran-damn-teed. Choo-choo! The stories were heart-warming, comical, bawdy, entertaining, and all Sinners!
